A 13-year-old girl named Zuwaira Ahmed from Kagara Village in the Kafur Local Government Area of Katsina State has memorized and written the entire collection of the Holy Qur'an's sixty Hizf (Chapters) from memory.
Alhaji Bello Abdulkadir, the District Head of Mahuta, expressed satisfaction over the event while speaking during a celebration held on Saturday to honor the daughter.
In his explanation, he noted that the state and the society had made enormous strides, particularly in the field of Islamic education.
Additionally, Abdulkadir praised the local parents, teachers, and other community leaders for assuring the right development of their children and urged them to keep up the momentum.
The traditional leaders received assurances from the Danejin Katsina that he would continue to support all matters pertaining to Islam for the region's overall development.
The girl, he claimed, memorized the Qur'an in just four years, and she credited her parents' and the school's teachers' support for her accomplishment.
Malam Ahmed Sani, Zuwaira's father, made a speech in which he thanked everyone for their support of him and his daughter and urged parents to let their kids pursue both Islamic and western education.
