Manchester United: Glazer family consider selling minority stake in Premier League club

The Glazers have controlled Manchester United since 2005, and according to Bloomberg, preliminary talks have been undertaken about bringing in a new investor. United has declined to comment on the claim.

"Bloomberg reports that the Glazer family simply wants to increase investment in Manchester United rather than selling the organization.

"This morning, United shares rose 4% on the New York Stock Exchange in response to the news. According to Bloomberg, any potential transaction might result in a valuation of up to £5 billion for Manchester United. United has made no comments about these reports.
