Revealed: What Governor Wike Told Atiku at London Meeting and PDP Presidential Candidate's Response

Atiku Abubakar and the governor Wike's camp met in London, and details of that meeting have come to light.

As a precondition for negotiations, Governor Wike demanded that Atiku fire PDP National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu.

Atiku made an attempt to defend why Ayu could not be dismissed, but the Wike camp responded with a counterargument, leading him to believe he would consult and turn back to the group.

Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, and the camp of Governor Nyesom Wike met to discuss the issue in the primary opposition party, according to a Premium Times report.

The incident allegedly occurred on Thursday, August 25, at dinner at the Park Lane Carlton Hotel in London.

The Wike camp advised Atiku that it would only talk to him about his support if the party's national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, resigned and was replaced by a candidate from the country's south, according to individuals present at the discussion with Atiku.
