Nearly eight years after endorsing the incumbent president, the former Nigerian leader now says he regrets his choice.
Obasanjo had previously expressed his open disagreement with a number of the administration's policies.
The former president also charged that Nigerian youths lacked a shared motivation to challenge the political astablishment.
He stated that nothing will change unless the young people of Nigeria demonstrate the will to alter the political system in the nation.
