Sadio Mane Set To Miss World Cup 2022

According to recent reports, Sadio Mane of Senegal will miss the World Cup due to a tendon injury. Aliou Cisse, the head coach of Senegal, will take a serious hit from the announcement as he must now travel to Qatar without his star player.

Senegal under Mane will take on the Netherlands, Ecuador, and Qatar in a group that many experts predicted Senegal would have advanced from.

Sadio Mane, the standout player for Senegal, is reportedly going to miss the 2017 FIFA World Cup due to an injury. On November 8, Mane suffered an injury while playing for Bayern Munich against Werder Bremen. After only 20 minutes, he was removed.

Mane is expected to miss a few weeks due to a tendon issue, according to the source. Julian Nagelsmann, the head coach of Bayern Munich, had initially stated that they were hopeful it wasn't something severe.

In Group A, Senegal was scheduled to compete against the Netherlands, Ecuador, and the hosts. Senegal, Bayern Munich, or Sadio Mane himself have not yet issued statements.
