Wike Draws The Battleline, Allegedly Shuts Down Businesses of Atiku's Loyalists in Rivers State

Property belonging to Atiku Abubakar supporters has been shut down by the state government of Rivers. Atiku's cronies' assets, including a gas station, a bar, and a hotel, were reportedly ordered to be sealed off by Governor Wike.

The Rivers state's governor, however, had declared that he would not allow people he characterized to as criminals to seize power.

Allegations have been made that Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers, is using his conflict with Atiku Abubakar to target PDP voters in the state.

Hon. Jones Ogbonda is the owner of the aforementioned Lounge, and Ikechi Chinda, the former PDP Chairman, is the owner of the Preray Hotel Eagle Island. The hotel was sealed, and some of the guests were held. In response to the development, Igwe claimed that Wike was merely following through on his earlier threat to deal with any Rivers residents who supported Atiku.

Opara and Wike are at odds, according to PM News, because Opara is dedicated to Atiku.
