Baba Idi, a 49-year-old man, is charged with murdering Khadija Adam, a neighbor's little daughter, by sexually assaulting her.

According to Adam Muhammad, the deceased's father, who confirmed the tale to reporters, the suspect allegedly threatened to kill the adolescent girl if she dared tell anybody about the immoral activity.
He claimed that his wife discovered the entire situation when she was bathing their daughter and saw blood oozing from her private area.
When her mother was bathing her that fateful day, she noticed blood oozing from her body. When her mother asked her what had happened, the girl mentioned our neighbor, Idi, also known as Baba Idi. She begged her mother to keep the information private since the suspect had threatened to use scissors to kill her if she told anyone.
"For a neighbor to act in this manner is inhumane. All I want is justice, he cried.
He claimed that although the police are aware of the situation, they have not yet responded. The public holiday may have something to do with it.
